These pens use water-based pigment ink that appears as vibrant pastel colors on white paper and develops a charming chalky pastel effect on dark paper. When writing on dark surfaces, the ink initially appears transparent, gradually intensifying as it dries. For deeper, more saturated colors on dark paper, simply apply 2–3 layers. The water-resistant ink won’t bleed through most papers, allowing for clean, precise lettering.
