Hobonichi Techo 2027 Weeks - Moomin: At the Table

The English edition of the Hobonichi Techo Weeks features a Moomin design inspired by Tove Jansson’s beloved novel, Moominsummer Madness. The front cover depicts Emma the stage rat appearing before the Moomin family, Misabel, Toft, and their friends as they gather around the dinner table, while Little My sits playfully inside a sewing basket on the back.

The artwork is rendered in greige lines against a pale pink background, finished with a soft purple spine for a subtle contrast. The year 2027 is foil-pressed in silver using a typeface inspired by the shape of Moomin’s tail. The cover has a rough, canvas-like texture and is constructed as a light hardcover with some flexibility, making it sturdy while still comfortable to carry.

Inside, the Weeks includes monthly calendars, weekly pages, and plenty of grid-lined memo pages for planning, journaling, and everyday notes. The thin and durable Tomoe River paper provides a smooth writing experience and holds ink well. A clear, adhesive corner pocket is also included for storing small notes and keepsakes.
