Hobonichi Techo 2027 HON - JPN Edition - A6 - Yumi Kitagishi: White Cat and Rabbit’s Tea Room

The Hobonichi HON “Yumi Kitagishi: White Cat and Rabbit’s Tea Room” features two original artworks by illustrator and picture book author Yumi Kitagishi, marking the first time her work has appeared on a HON. The dollhouse-inspired design brings together her familiar white cat and a cast of animals across the cover.

On the front, a white cat cheerfully greets visitors at the door while rabbits prepare tea and a slice of shortcake. The back features animals gathered inside a house made of books, each absorbed in their reading. Delicate flowers are scattered throughout, while the spine is accented with the year 2027 and a small white cat motif.

The A6-size HON features a one-page-per-day layout, providing space for writing, planning, journaling, sketches, and notes throughout the year. The thin and durable Tomoe River paper offers a smooth writing experience, while the thread-stitched binding allows the book to open completely flat at 180 degrees and stay open while you write.

The back of the book includes useful bonus pages. The Japanese edition features My 100, Favorites, Solar Terms, Phrases to Break That Writer’s Block, Useful Sign Language Phrases to Know, and the Hobonichi’s Neighborhood: Kanda/Jinbo-cho Map.
