Created in collaboration with picture book author and illustrator Yumi Kitagishi, this Original-size Hobonichi Techo cover features an exclusive illustration inspired by the dollhouse scenes found throughout her work. Titled “White Cat House,” the design invites you to peek into the cozy world of a white cat and its animal friends, with every corner filled with charming details to discover.
The original artwork was painted in acrylic gouache and printed on polyester to capture its rich colors and texture. From the wallpaper and furniture to the tiny dishes and accessories, each detail brings the little house to life. The inner cover continues the scene with pale green, wallpaper-inspired details, while the right pocket features a white cat playing with a dollhouse.
The back of the cover is lined with windows in various shapes. Look inside the back pocket to discover a hidden view of the rooms beyond the windows. A simple ribbon bookmark and floral Tyrolean tape-inspired butterfly-stopper pen holders complete the design, with the pen holders also keeping the cover securely closed.
A small message tucked into the design reads, “HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.” With its detailed scenes and hidden surprises, this cover brings a little warmth and wonder to your everyday planning.

- The pen holder fits pens up to 13.5 mm (0.53") in diameter and is designed for the 12.2 mm (0.48") Jetstream pen. Some pen shapes or materials may be difficult to pull through.
- Slight variations in color or print placement, as well as minor blurring, uneven coloring, or small dots, may occur due to the manufacturing process.
