The Frederick: Colors Techo Cover brings Leo Lionni’s beloved classic picture book to life with a design inspired by Frederick and his collection of colors. Created for the Cousin size, the cover features a scene of Frederick sharing the colors he has gathered with the other field mice during winter.

The front cover is printed on glossy white enamel material with a matte, textured finish layered over the artwork to evoke the look and feel of torn pieces of colored paper. Soft pink accents add warmth to the design, while the bookmark charms are shaped like fragments of the colors and words Frederick collects throughout the story.

Inside, the pockets continue the story with scenes of the mice carrying grain and nuts and Frederick happily receiving praise from his friends. The back pocket features the handwritten “Frederick” lettering from the original picture book’s endpapers, with a small field mouse tucked inside the pocket for an extra detail to discover.

The cover features “butterfly-stopper” pen holders that securely hold your pens while also functioning as a clasp to keep the cover closed.
