Hobonichi Landscape Notebook - Akiko Miyakoshi: I Dream of a Journey

Capture your own stories and travel memories with the Hobonichi Landscape Notebook featuring Akiko Miyakoshi’s “I Dream of a Journey” design! Created in collaboration with the picture-book author, this B6-size landscape notebook features a scene from her picture book, brought to life through the delicate details of lithographic printing.

The front cover depicts a dreamlike journey where the protagonist travels by airplane from one unfamiliar town to another. Finished with a smooth, matte surface, the cover features the words “Unforgettable Moments.” in iridescent aurora foil that catches the light. The back cover shows a beautiful dawn sky above the clouds, inspired by the endpapers of the picture book. Miyakoshi drew inspiration from the changing light she experiences during international flights, when the sun rises or sets at unexpected times and sunlight streams through the cabin windows.

Inside, the pages feature a subtle yellow-ochre 3.7 mm grid that provides a gentle guide for writing, sketching, and taking notes without distracting from your work. Made with thin yet durable Tomoe River paper, the notebook opens completely flat at 180 degrees for comfortable use.

As the first B6-size addition to the Hobonichi Graph Notebook series, its landscape format offers a little more room than the A6 Original Techo while remaining more compact than the A5 Cousin. Take it along on your travels or keep it nearby for everyday notes, quick sketches, and ideas that come to mind throughout the day.

Fill its pages with your own unforgettable moments and the stories of your journeys, wherever they may take you.
