Kamogawa Riverside Terrace is inspired by the everyday scenery of Kyoto’s Kamogawa River, which changes its appearance with the seasons and time of day. Both Forme’s store and warehouse are located near the river, on opposite sides, making the Kamogawa part of their daily surroundings. This ink was created as a way to translate those familiar views into color.

The riverside terraces, or yuka, are a beloved summer tradition along the Kamogawa River. As evening arrives, the lights of restaurants and shops begin to glow along the riverbanks. The pale purple base color evokes the sky at sunset, while iridescent pink reflects the magic hour and the warm lights of the riverside terraces.

This is a glitter-free ink, allowing the soft colors and subtle shading to shine naturally on the page while making it suitable for fountain pens.

The ink is packaged in a bagasse paper box made from sugarcane residue, an eco-friendly material that gives the packaging a soft, natural texture while reducing waste.
