Capture the fleeting beauty of spring along Kyoto’s Kamo River with Kamogawa Hanaikada Evening Ink from forme. Both the store and warehouse are located near the Kamo River, and passing by it each day inspired this original ink series, created to express the river’s changing scenery through the seasons and throughout the day.

Kamogawa Hanaikada Evening is inspired by the seasonal sight of scattered cherry blossom petals floating across the river's surface, gathering into gentle streams that resemble drifting rafts. The color combines pink and blue tones, representing the cherry blossom petals and the waters of the Kamo River. A warm pink base evokes the atmosphere of evening, while yellow undertones that emerge when diluted with water recall the glow of the setting sun. Together, these colors reflect the shifting appearance of the Hanaikada from morning to evening.

This ink contains no glitter, making it suitable for fountain pens while allowing its layered tones and subtle color variations to shine on different papers.

The ink is packaged in a bagasse paper box made from sugarcane waste, an eco-friendly material that gives the packaging a soft, natural texture.
