The BUNGUBOX x Esterbrook Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen is the first release in the Kachofugetsu collaboration series, inspired by the Japanese expression “Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon” and the fleeting beauty of Japan’s cherry blossoms. Crafted from semi-translucent crackled pink acrylic, the pen captures the look of the Someiyoshino cherry tree in full bloom, paired with gold-plated trim and thoughtful details throughout.
Created in collaboration with BUNGUBOX and artist Kaoru, the pen combines Esterbrook’s classic writing instrument design with BUNGUBOX’s Japanese artistic perspective. The signature gold-plated nib is engraved with the Japanese character for “flower,” while the transparent body reveals a blossom-printed converter inside, carrying the sakura theme through every part of the design.
From its soft pink finish to its carefully considered details, the Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen is designed to bring the feeling of springtime blossoms into the writing experience - a “flower” that never fades.
Please note: This pen does not include Esterbrook’s cushion-cap closure, so the cap may feel slightly different compared to other Estie fountain pens. However, it still maintains a proper seal to keep the nib ready for writing and meets Esterbrook’s quality standards.
