The Portland Stamp Company, founded in 2016 in Portland, Oregon by Niko Courtelis and Josh Berger, is a creative studio dedicated to reviving the lost art of poster stamps—also known as “cinderella” stamps—using vintage, foot-powered perforation machines and moisture-activated gum. They produce limited-edition artistamps, custom designs, and blank “Lick & Stick” stamp sheets for DIY projects, compatible with various printing methods like digital, letterpress, risograph, and silkscreen. With a blend of historical charm and modern design, their work celebrates miniature art and has been featured in PRINT magazine and carried by over 50 stationery shops, museums, and indie retailers worldwide.
