Kyupodo is a Japanese workshop dedicated to the art of letterpress printing. It was originally founded by Sakai Katsuro, who began printing memoirs and travel journals as a creative pursuit during his retirement. Today, the workshop is led by his grandson, Sakai Sohei, a former publishing professional who continues to carry on the family’s passion for traditional printing with care and craftsmanship.
