6 Months of Mt.Fo'rest!
Can you believe it has been six months since we opened the doors to Mt.Fo’rest?
We were so excited to share our love for all things stationery on May 5th of this year, and we have been overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we have received since opening! These past six months have been a whirlwind of colorful stamps, endless rolls of washi tape, and meeting so many wonderful stationery lovers from Pasadena and beyond. We wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of our favorite highlights, milestones, and memories from our first half-year.
Event Highlights
We had the privilege of hosting several events over the past few months:
June 14th – Mt.Fo’rest Grand Opening: Celebrating the official opening of our stationery store with our community.
August 2nd – Stationery Store Day: Honoring stationery stores around the world.
September 20th – Matcha Fo’rest: Launching our very first product, Matcha!
Over 1,500 guests attended across all our events, and we could not be more grateful for your support. While we will be pausing events for the rest of the year, we are excited to announce a fun activity for the next two months with Fo’rest Wonderland. Check it out for more details!
Behind the Scenes
Running a stationery store comes with both challenges and joys. From curating new collections to organizing shelves, there is never a dull moment. We have learned so much during these months, from improving our in-store layout to refining our online orders. Most importantly, we have loved creating a space where both our team and our customers feel at home.
Random Store Stats
- Products: 2,100+ (over 10,000 units!)
- Brands: 120+ local and international vendors
- Team Members: Grew from 4 to 7 amazing stationery lovers who make our store so special
Looking Ahead
The next six months are already shaping up to be exciting. We have new arrivals and special events that we cannot wait to share with you. Our goal remains the same: to make your stationery experience joyful, inspiring, and a little magical.
We couldn’t have made it this far without the support of our Fo’rest Friends, the wonderful community around us, and the talented artists and brands we work with. Thank you for being part of our story so far. We cannot wait to see what the next six months bring!
